Community Involvement

At Markham Subaru, we realize the importance of reinvesting in the city you work in. I have been a proud resident of Markham for most of my life. As I matured, I respected businesses that actively tried to make Markham a better place by thinking outside of their own balance sheets.

Now that I have children of my own, it is my goal that Markham Subaru does whatever it can to continue the work of the many great companies that have come before us. We strive to make Markham a more vibrant community and a better place for our families to grow, not just through our business but through the many organizations, large and small alike, we support.

Markham Stouffville hospital is where my children were born. I think there is no nobler cause than supporting your local hospital. Markham Subaru has twice sponsored Markham Stouffville Hospital's Legacy 5km Run/Walk and this year pledged to donate a portion of each new and pre-owned vehicle sale to the Markham Stouffville Hospital expansion campaign. Markham Subaru is also proud to support youth athletics in all shapes and forms, including the Unionville Jets mites hockey team, Rugby Ontario and the Markham Waxers.

Markham Subaru has also been pleased to have worked with both the York Catholic District School Board's and the York Region District School Board's apprenticeship programs. Through these programs, qualified high school students have learned a valuable trade hands-on from our experienced technicians.

In 2012, Markham Subaru announced an exciting partnership with Canada's premiere indoor bike park, Joyride 150. Located in the heart of Markham, Joyride 150 is a 90,000 square foot indoor biking facility for bikers of all skill levels. Hone your skills in the Markham Subaru beginner's area or test your might by jumping into Joyride's incredible foam pit.
